NewJeans "Alarming CCTV Footage" Leaker Exposed, Sparking Huge Suspicions

NewJeans CCTV footage leak sparks controversy as BASE Studios identifies the source, raising further suspicions among fans.

A recent security breach involving members of NewJeans this past week left fans deeply concerned. And the leaker’s supposed identity has sparked even more worry.

On February 28 (KST), CCTV footage showing Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni inside a dance studio began circulating online. The clip appeared to show the three practicing choreography, which quickly fueled speculation about a possible three-member comeback.

However, the footage also sparked massive concern as it was leaked.

Many contacted BASE Studios, the dance studio, demanding clarification. According to emails shared by fans, the studio initially denied that any member of its team was responsible for the leak.

A few of my oomfs and I emailed the dance studio, and this was their response. They stated that neither the owners nor any of the staff were responsible for leaking the CCTV footage. This is crazy asf pic.twitter.com/1qZLtT5Y1k

Now, BASE Studios has released an official statement admitting that the image had been taken from their internal CCTV system and shared without authorization. The studio claimed the person responsible was an intern who acted beyond their authority and in direct violation of company policies.

The intern’s placement was reportedly terminated immediately, and the matter has been formally reported to the police.

Despite the clarification, suspicions among fans have only intensified. Many questioned the abrupt change in the studio’s explanation — from denying internal involvement to confirming that an intern was responsible.

The change in narrative was crazy. I'm just saying. https://t.co/32Mk8OHAKq pic.twitter.com/Z2vceI7ozb

I find it very suspicious that the email response a bunny received from the studio shortly after the leak claimed it was not leaked by anyone from their team but now they’re claiming it was an intern while also praising ADOR?

the leakers IP address was located in Korea not UK https://t.co/OCrNaCI3i9 pic.twitter.com/EtygjTLtfL

For now, both BASE Studios and ADOR say investigations are ongoing, but the controversy surrounding the leak shows no signs of slowing down.
